I love all the festivities that go on in the month of December. I love the parties, family traditions, and just being together with awesome people more often than usual celebrating such a wonderful time of the year.This year at the Carter Christmas party we once again had a fun time carrying on some old but fun traditions and making new ones. Old but classic...our live Nativity that Grandma Mary has put on for years now. I have seen more than once kids shrug there shoulders as if to say "really do we have to do this again?" yet they still join right in on the fun as the play whatever role they are assigned. From Mary or Joseph to a Shepherd or sheep.
New (well i hope this is now a tradition) The Christmas Tree game... A big thanks to Collins grandparents. This game had every child and adult intense and involved dying to yell out CHRISTMAS TREE in hopes to get a yummy prize! If you have ever played or know anything about Bunco this game is very similar. I am all about the traditions. Making new and loving the old. We all had a great time and we love having this party to look forward to.
