O deer...

Hunt that is.

Kev and I had so much fun on the deer hunt this year. Our Anniversary was on October 22nd and we have been married now for 12 years. Amazing and wonderful huh. Anyways this hunt really is my hunt since i am the one with the tag (kev does the bow hunt) non the less Kev is more involved than i myself have ever been. So with the help of my sis in law Jennie and Kevin's parents we were able to go spend the weekend deer hunting. I knew it was going to be very cold(which I HATE) but i also knew what a blast i was going to have. Look how gorgeous this picture is! I love it! Cold yes but also beautiful.

First thing opening morning around 9am my nephew Collin shot a spike. Not long after that uncle Rod shot a 2 point. Between Vance and myself their were a couple more shots but no success. It was just fine though. Up until the snow It was a beautiful morning and we could not have asked for better weather. I cant explain how fun it is to be with Kevin in the place he loves most. He is just the happiest man alive the mountains and i love being with there with him.

When Kev and Rod got done cleaning his deer we had to drag it down the mountain. The good times that were involved with that are priceless and the memories are great! There really are some fun stories to be had when on the mountain :)

So did i get one......Um NO or that would have been the head liner of my post! But still what a great way to spend our anniversary weekend together. There may have been no deer but i have the best "dear" ever!!!( Was that the cheesiest or what!) I love you Kevin and here is to 12 more years and hunts :)
